For Balinese friends

I was lucky to be in Bali. 

Wonderfull, deep, spiritual culture, very human. People in Bali are happy. 
And I saw, how "Europa" is comming there. With its emptyness. With its technologies. With its comfort, which has no deep message behind. 

I had to tell Balines people, that people in Europa have not the priority to be happy. They try, but they are mostly not. They do not have any common spirituality. And what is around, what is in the society to see, the architecture, the way of life, has in it some... (spiritual) emptynes.
The way of life in Europe is so, that the priority of the system and of the science is not the healty and the happiness of people. Technologies became God. Shopping became God. Money became God.
And now it is comming to Bali and some people in Bali think, the way how they lived before, is not enough. 

I appreciate that the people in Bali try to protect their spirituality and their way of life. They are soo deep connected with it, that it is naturally part of their everyday lives. 

And they really try to let turists experience, but not disturb their way of life. 

But though, I experienced two other sides of it
- turist as source of money for balinese
- balinese as servants of tourists
Many balinese know, people from Europa, Amerika and Australia have much more money as they, and Bali is for them "cheap". They have learned that 3-4x higher price then for balinese can be stil good for turist and that makes them ... want it. 
Very many balinese people work in services - shops, driving, accommodation - and there is the western way of "lets serve the one who pay" to feel. Balinese try to make turists happy... they work all days, to let the turists rest. And rest them so, that they are happy... which leads to more and more hotels in style of western Europe, shops in style of western Europa, restaurants in style of western Europe... (Luckilly not everywhere in Bali...)

People from Europa come to experience BALI. Bali wants to welcome them - so "as if at home", and so they build spaces which are similar as in Europa. Europa-people come, and they meet more and more Europa in Bali. - And they want it perhaps. Some of them even demand it.

Well, and behind every expressed thing is some "spirit", something what is "behind". Some atmosphere, which this carries, atmospehere which is around. 
And from my experience,
the atmosphere in Bali is full. Full of sense, full of humanity, full of warmth of hearts, full of family-life, full of daily spirituality, full of practical spirituality, and full of Beauty. 
The athmosphere of nowadays Europe is spiritual emptyness. - It is important for our way to develop - as individuality, which learns from his/her heart create new spirituality - learns how to be "god" and create peacefull world. - And thats why we in Europa have first to loose it. And in the emptyness find in ourselves, what we miss outside. (That comes from my world-view inspirated by antroposofia, which is an european spirituality - for individualities to grow into "creators" who are connected with spirituality inside, and outside, both. Unluckily, this is in Europa not so known.)
Europa-people perhaps have no idea, that the standard and comfort, which they are used, is "Europa with everything what Europa nowadays is" - and that it is always "behind" their needs and demands on certain "standards". The "behind" is what is "normal in Europa" - icluded the normality of stress, dividing people to more and less rich, spiritual emptyness, prioritizing technologies - even against human health, money-orientated life, etc. 

And perhaps it has to come to Bali, too. Perhaps the way of individualisation has here also its sense. 

I just have the hope, the question, and the idea -
- if it is really needed, that the Balinese loose everything, to reborn it from inside,
- or if there is some way, how to protect the "corn", the "gold" of this culture, the tradition and family-oriented life and at the same time - to enable individualities to develop, to loose and find, to go other ways as usual, and bring new impulses, and though not kill the treasure, which is here. 
?

Because the treasures are here. 

And Balinese people carry it, and - by my view - they should be on their island the ones who are here at home, who are here "the kings", the good kings, who are welcoming the guests, understand them and help them, but they do not serve them (as "servants"). They welcome guests and invite them to experience the Bali culture, but they do not need to change their way of life. 

I even hope, that there is a way, how to enable Bali people to have certain protection, security about their lives - where to be, what to eat, what to drink, what to offer to gods - without "making money". Old villages also in Europe (in Slovakia sure) have been like that. People worked on fields to have what to eat. And afterwards they sang and danced. 
Even there existed iniciatives where the people started to cooperate and did something as "elektricity bank", "basic-needs bank", "food-bank" where they collected sources for specific village or region and they hat way how to divide the sources so, that everyone can live with that. 
Western economy is based on materialistic science, which promotes fight and concurence, and oposite of cooperation. The "behind" is materialism, simplified darwinism and beliefe, that human is not "good", and nature is not friendly, but is full of fight, and the human shall just think and that makes him/her better. The history of Europe shows, if this brought to our world the Peace, the harmony, the health and happiness for people. - Statistics show rather depressions, wars, stress in everyday life, and more and more unhealthy. 
This is already our experience... and we go on. - Why do we not stop? Why do we not ask? Why do we not look for, how to be more healthy, more in inner and outer peace, more happy?
And why do we not say to people which stil are not there - hey, this way we tried. Not good way. - ?? I do not know it. 
I only see how our-european culture is going further and further... without message. Without deeper message. - For me it is so. 

My deeper message is - every individuality in Europa has possibility to re-born from the Heart a new spirituality, new humanity, new peace inside and outside. - Then we have what to give. Until then - we search, we take, we demand... and we spread the emptyness, which is deep in our Hearts. Because nobody teaches us how to re-born the fullnes. Everybody has to find it himself/herself. - And that is not easy. 
Bali people perhaps create Harmony also for us - for the world, that it "stays" until we find what we look for. Bali people can perhaps show us, what we look for. Happiness. Smile. Beauty. Gratefullness. Spirituality, which is practical, and everywhere. 

So, if I should have some message, I would perhaps say
Europa-people, let us show what could be, if...
Bali-people, protect your culture and spirituality, that we-Europeans have the chance to experience, what we look for. 
And - nothing is ideal - and nothing is "total". Every way of life has pluses and minuses. This belongs to our earth-experience. 
I do not say, that Bali is ideal. I do not say, that Europa is disaster. I just see some tendencies, and I write it only for the once, who resonate with my view. I know my view is not the only one.

Something to smile...

When I was in Penglipuran village, 
in a very-very nice home-stay "Nature" at Mr. Tarik
I had the possibility to join ceremonies during the Galungen day. 
One of my gardiens and guides through these ceremonies was my friend Kadek. 
Next day, when she with friends prepared temple for next ceremony, 
we talked together and I showed, how I saw the day before the Bali dance. 
Young women were excited about it and made videos...
and some of it put in tiktok (which I dont have)
and then... I became "famous" in the village.... because people saw it and liked it. 

And so I thought... I will put some of these videos which were done in Punglipuran village also here - and I can connect it with some other "messages" for my dear balinese friends. 

This is only begin... Just first try ... to put something on my web-site.
